style blogs for size 14/16

I ve been trying to look for style inspiration on blogs/instagram but everything I find seems either slim ladies or plus sized.

I don't really related to the plus sized images as I'm not tall and curvy - my weight is all in my chest and tummy. They also tend to be quite a bit bigger, size 20+ - I am having a hard time finding any one who's a short apple and feeling like maybe you can't be my shape and be stylish!

Set me straight ladies! Any ideas or inspiration would be hugely helpful. (I tend to be wear seasalt/fat face type clothes but really happy to look outside my norm)

Hi I would love to know as well, im 5'2 size 14-16 and would like know what to buy off the UK High Street.

Oh dear, surely this doesn't mean that my mythical inspirational blogger doesn't exist :( I really hoped this might be the answer so that I didn't have to go around the shops trying on loads f things that didn't work and feeling more and more disheartened...

Honestly they dont exist, it seems. Its either size 10 or size 20 but damn all in between. People often suggest Erika Davies but shes a size 12.

JuneFromBethesda · 01/04/2018 15:52

I don't know of any short apples but have a look at Terrible Tumbles, and IKIWN. Also Hannah Gale.

HuskyMcClusky · 01/04/2018 15:58

Really?! But isn’t that the most common UK size or something? How odd that there are no bloggers in it.

Notonaschoolnight · 01/04/2018 16:02

Erica doesn’t seem like a 12 more a tall 14 same as me but I can’t get to grips with her dress sense as lovely as she is I need more of a classic minimal wardrobe that’ll I’ll get years of use from whereas she has to earn from embracing most trends. So all I’ve done is subscribe to various younger slimmer people who have similar dress sense to me (Anna edit, ej style) and I cherry pick the stuff they mention that will suit me and is within budget

onemouseplace · 01/04/2018 16:37

Liberty London Girl? She doesn't do that many fashion posts that aren't event dressing these days but she is that sort of shape, even after her breast reduction.

Erica does look more like a 14 /16 to me, which is perfect for me so thanks for that, I will start following her

Baileystruffle · 01/04/2018 18:08

The sustainable edit or rachel the hat? Not sure what size they are though

Paintbox · 01/04/2018 18:48

Erica recently said she is a 12-14 but more often a 14.
I also don’t think she’s that tall, I’m sure I remember her saying she is about 5’5”

Sitranced · 01/04/2018 22:17

Helen Anderson

KittyWindbag · 01/04/2018 23:13

Nicolette Mason!! She used to be bigger but she recently lost weight and I’d say she’s maybe a uk 16 now but her weight is very much in her boobs and midsection. She has a really cool and fun sense of style and her blog is beautiful.
