Does anyone know if this calculates bra size correctly? I have just done it and have measured 26 inches tight, and 27.5 inches loose around chest under boobs. 32.5 inches standing and 33 inches leaning around boobs and it gives me a size of 28DD Shock? Surely not. I have been wearing a 32B.

Well bras fit a little differently, depending on brand and model, but in general yes. You might need to go size up or down. But if you measure 26-27, you do not need a 32 bra.

Thanks Katharina. While the 32B feels ok I can definitely pull the band more than 2 inches away from my back, I think that's meant to be a sign it's too big? Not even sure where to get a 28 bra from!

Bravissimo

Also that is only actually 1 cup size larger than you currently wear and since you have a band that's too big it will have been making up for the cup size being slightly too small.

32B = 30C = 28D = all the same cup size

KirstenRaymonde · 28/03/2018 15:07

Yes that’ll be correct then. So many women wearing too big a band and too small a cup. Order some 28DDs to try, you’ll probably be shocked you ever thought a 32B fit.

KirstenRaymonde · 28/03/2018 15:08

@SwimmingInTheBlueLagoon almost the same but they’re not actually completely interchangeable, and the volume changes. I’m a 32E and can wear a 34DD in some things, but a 36C would just be wrong as the band wouldn’t support properly.
