Bra/Underwear for wedding dress recommendations

I am having my first wedding dress fitting in a couple of weeks - the dress is Pronovias and is very fitted and crepe material.

I know I’m going to need some help from Spanx to smooth everything over and will definitely need a bra as I’m a 32G/GG. I’m struggling to find anything properly seamless which will provide the support I need without showing funny lines through the dress.

I’ve already bought an all in one Spanx with a vest type top, that won’t work because of the seam. I’m thinking one of the ones where you can wear your own bra - but I’m struggling to find a nude, smooth, seamless and non-padded bra in my size.

Any suggestions for where/what I can try? Prefer online ideally, but I’m based near Bristol.

Wonderbra? This was mine. Not 100% nude, but brilliant under my Pronovias dress.

Try Perfect Fit in Keynsham. It's an independent lingerie shop. I'd recommend going on a week day rather than a weekend because they get really busy (mainly with brides) on Saturdays.

Wonderbra Ultimate is great - it's very tight in back, so you might need to go up a back size

Isyou dress boned? If so you may not need a bra, or they may be able to put cups into your dress

What's the top and neckline of your dress like? Do you need strapless, or can you wear decent sized straps?

Can’t link a photo right now but it’s the Pronovias Relato dress. The seamstress is altering it to have a V front and back.

How padded to Wonderbras tend to be? Everything I have tried so far has shown through the dress!

Go to Rigby and Peller and get them to fit you.

I bought a wonderbra for my wedding but actually ended up not wearing it - it sort of pushed my fat around it (I had it fitted properly) so I didn't find it too comfortable...

My advise would be prioritise comfort and don't buy things too far in advance.

I bought a wonderbra strapless nude but in the end got them to sew cups in, I'm a similar size to you -30gg- and wouldn't normally answer the front door without a bra on so I really thought I'd feel more comfortable but with a fitted dress the cups were honestly more than enough support and far more comfortable.

Underwear-wise, Id worn Spanx before and found that by the time it comes to eating in them they're really uncomfortable and I didn't want to feel in pain at my wedding. Right before the wedding, despite not making much of an effort to lose weight, I really had got trimmer and didn't need the pull-in spanx so got ones they do that are basically seamless and designed more to give you no lines than to pull you in. They had them in a specialist wedding underwear shop o went to and I had to stress not wanting to feel constricted for her to suggest them. Despite that, they did provide a little support, but not so much they made anything uncomfortable- more smoothing than pulling. They are Spanx brand but basically nude cycling shorts that go up pretty much to your ribcage just under the boobs so you don't see a line, I cut a hole in the gusset for going to the bathroom.

I was really happy with both choices in the end- and the decision to go for comfortable shoes!- as mid way through the day I think I would have started to feel pinched and a bit uncomfortable and it's the last thing you want.
