Shoes for Boden Richmond 7/8 Trousers

If you have Boden Richmond 7/8 Trousers what shoes do you wear with them?

I've bought a couple of pairs for a city holiday and was planning to wear black and white trainers with them or brogues with socks.

I'm not sure if I should have bought the petite ones as I'm only 5ft 2.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Should have said I'm a size 12 too.

I have these. I find shoes with socks don't look quite right as the trousers are on the shorter side for me (I'm 5'8). So I usually wear patent court flats to work with them, or if I do wear brogues I wear them with knee length black tights.

I only wear mine in the summer so with fitflop trainers or supergas.

I wear mine with sock boots in the winter, in spring without socks with ballet pumps, trainers, skater shoes and brogues and in summer with sandals (not wedges though).

I don't have the Richmonds but I do have similar style trousers from M&S and Gap. I wear them with ankle boots in the winter, and today I'm wearing brogues and snazzy socks. As the wearher warms up I lose the socks and boots and go bare ankled with brogues or loafers or any of my multitude of flat shoes. Don't wear trainers with them though.

I tend to wear mine for work, so with ballet flats, heeled pumps, brogues, sandals or loafers.

They also work with trainers (invisible socks) for casual.

Pretty versatile, all in all.

Regarding Petite or not, I actually bought the Petite for myself, and I'm 5'7"! The regular length felt more 9/10 than 7/8 - I hate it when trousers don't look intentionally "cropped".

Thank you for the replies. I've actually returned them for the petite version which I'll wear with my trainers I think. As they aren't particularly fitted at the ankle I think they just felt a bit too flappy in the regular length.

I've also bought a pair of soho skinny jeans in indigo which I think will look better with my brogues.
