I'm going to a party later and they currently have 40%off online!! I always get carried away and end up buying stuff I don really need. I'm in my late 30's so want something tired dull skin and maybe some new makeup. What should I look out for???

Is there a specific product you actually like? I don't rate Body Shop skincare much, TBH. Some of the makeup is ok but that's down to individual choice & skin type. The frequency of the sales bother me - I always assume that if they can afford to offer such a steep discount so often, it's probably massively overpriced to start with. Why do you want to shop there, specifically?

I really like their chamomile cleansing balm.

pencilhoarder · 24/03/2018 12:25

Body Shop oatmeal and honey face mask is lovely in the bath before going out Smile

BagelGoesWalking · 24/03/2018 12:32

The Chamomile cleansing balm really is amazing and great value. I got the Japanese Camellia Velvet Moisture Body cream. Small pot is £7 so I use it as a hand cream.

I second the camomile cleansing butter and the charcoal face mask in a jar is great too. I also have a warming face mask which is fab but feels really weird on. Colour crush lipstick is really moisturising and a good selection of colours too.

Can you tell that I just made good use of the 40% off? Blush

The hemp hand cream is good. They also have some hand sanitizers that smell a nicer than bog standard ones. Body butters are good. I think the main draw of body shop is the smells of their products- none of which I like. Go for what you like the smell of.
I wouldn't go for any of their facial skin care or makeup personally

pigeondujour · 24/03/2018 12:58

It gets mixed reviews on here but I really like the ginger shampoo. And yes, the camomile cleansing balm is great.

stoplickingthetelly · 24/03/2018 13:31

The honey bronzer is lovely.

TheScottishPlay · 24/03/2018 13:38

Banana conditioner.

shortandsweet1 · 24/03/2018 14:14

Camomile cleansing balm here too. I don't rate the hemp hand cream. I don't think it moisturises the skin at all. It seems it's just me though. The new spa range shower gels smell gorgeous.

Sarsparella · 24/03/2018 14:16

I like the chamomile cleansing oil & the vitamin e cream is nice too

MikeUniformMike · 24/03/2018 14:18

The hemp hand cream is good but a bit smelly. I like the make-up - the stuff I have bought from the shop is great.
Shower gels and body butter are quite nice if you use it.

makeupmaven · 24/03/2018 15:42

I love their Vitamin C skincare range for brightening the skin. I've been meaning to try out their face masks too!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/03/2018 16:29

Camomile Butter Balm
DD likes the Camomile eyemake up remover liquid

I used the Vit E original cream in the past and loved it but the most recent one made my skin feel rough Sad

Pink Grapefruit Body scrub is brilliant and doesn't leave my skin 'coated'

Absinthe handwash (I use in the shwer)

DD loved the Himalayan Face Mask but dropped the jar on the bathroom floor (glass jar) so lost half a jar worth. (£16 but I'd buy it again on offer)

I'm going to buy the Pink Grapefruit spray .

BluePony · 24/03/2018 16:36

I like their liquid eyeliner if you're looking for a new one Smile
