Hey,
I've got a big night out coming up - glamourous, nice bars (in June, but I don't get out much!) and I want an amazing outfit as I rarely get to look amazing (I'm a bit frumpy).

I'm 27, a pear shape, 5'5, sallow skin, dark hair, size 8-10. 8 on top, 10 on bottom. Some places with vanity sizing, I'm an 8 all over. I also have quite flat boobs from when I was breastfeeding. With a push up bra, they are alright. not amazing, but not horrendous.

Budget is up to £50.00 maybe more at a stretch .
I like dresses, although, find them hard to find with being a pear. I like the look of jumpsuits, and like the look of the high waisted skirt with crop top. I usually don't like a pattern, but could be swayed with a one off :D

I just want something that looks amazing and the fabric feels substantial.

The sort of clothes I wear are seasalt, toast, m and s, I don't buy often. (I'm stuck in a rut) I love toast, but want to try a new look maybe. And I don't fancy can't affordany of their current party wear.

Any ideas/links would be sooo appreciated :D

Order lots of things from ASOS and have a trying on session. They have a fantastic search function with lots of filters to help narrow down your choices and lots of party dresses/skirts/jumpsuits.

Have you looked at prom style skirts? I am an 8/10 same as you my hips and thighs are bigger than the rest of me so I go for something that sits high up on the waist. The prom (not as hideous as they sound) skirts on ASOS as PP mentioned are lovely! I tend to go for a subtle pattern or bright colour and put a black or white cami with it. It also gives the illusion of a smaller waist. I have worn them to weddings but also on nights out with a leather jacket and ankle boots so I don’t look over dressed.

If you look in the sale on ASOS you might find something in last seasons party/occasion wear for your budget.

Ah thanks!! Prom skirt! That's exactly what I want! Thank you, couldn't think of the wording to search!
