Where can I get a bag authenticated?

I'd prefer an online service but I'm in London so could possibly go somewhere in person. Anyone know somewhere reputable?

The bag is a huge Burberry travel bag. Is it possible to get replacement shoulder straps for these?

Susan at Naughti Pidgins Nest (online)

Sian. Not Susan. Hmm

But I'm not if you are selling. Otherwise try the purse forum ladies. There is a subsection for each designer brand. You will usually have to list on eBay to get an authenticity from them. Then you can screen shot and in your listing say 'authenticated by TPF' and anyone who knows bags will get it.

Sorry my phone is dying. I meant to type 'But only if you're selling'

Thank you! I really appreciate the info. I'll get in touch with the Pidgins Nest lady.

How does The TPF thing work - would I have to list the bag with detailed photos and then ask them to take a look. I'd like to have some idea of what to ask for and I think it was around £2K new. I did think I could join TPF and post pics. and ask for opinions.

I managed to find a website called Bagista that gets good online reviews. has anyone used them?

I used Authenticate4u about 5 years ago and paid a fiver. They issued a certificate which was handy when I wanted to sell the bag on and proof authenticity.
With TPF, they list their guidelines and format rules in the authenticate thread so may be worth checking that out.
