Clueless about shoes

What shoes do you wear for dinner out? Drinks out? (Not clubbing - not my scene anymore)

General day to day when you want to look smart ish?

I live in trainers. Can’t wear heels at the moment due to a foot problem (could wear small, but all my heels of old are too big)

Size 7.5 - 8 .... (also a problem- def not a seven, and more 8 than 7.5)

Links would be much appreciated!

I have a similar foot issue.

Jigsaw do some good smart flats
e.g. www.jigsaw-online.com/product/camber-pointed-flat/J35650_BK000 (I have these)
or www.jigsaw-online.com/product/clarence-flat-shoes/J34263_GN011

I also have some Clarks black suede wedge heel boots that I can wear for evenings out without any foot pain - can't link to them as the Clarks website is currently down!

This blog is also a good resource for flat shoe ideas
enbrogue.com/

Just came on to suggest you look at en brogue, she's just done a round up of her favourite leopard print dressy shoes. Thanks to Hannah I now have a selection of pointy flats (silver, gold and black). I also love Rogue Matilda flats, they are expensive but fabulous quality.

I have some reiker wedges, I'm not supposed to wear heels but these actually make me feel better than flats
They're about this high www.rieker.co.uk/images/rieker-62470-64-ladies-sling-back-sandals-p6054-7751_image.jpg

actually they have some really pretty flats too
