Spring/summer wardrobe help please

Hi all

At the age of nearly 32 (eek) I am determined to stop buying cheap/eBay stuff that invariably doesn't suit me or doesn't last. So could you please tell me what items you would buy to make up your Spring/summer capsule wardrobe. Links would be most appreciated

Ideally some work wear and some home wear please - work is smart/casual so at the moment I am usually in dress and tights/boots

I am a size 12/14 and very short (4'11) with e cup boobs.

Ideally I'd like to.spend about £300 ish on a core wardrobe that I could add some other bits to a bit later on

Thank you

Last summer I got a lot of wear out of a pair of navy chinos, rolled up with a shirt and brogues or trainers.

I also find a pair of printed floaty trousers, a vest/tank top or boxy t shirt and sandals really useful when it's hot at weekends and for a casualish office.

Gap bi stretch ankle skimmers in black/grey/navy, they are available in petite. Bogues (Clarks get a lot of love here and are a great price for leather shoes). A selection of nice cotton tops that suit your shape and colouring. If you like wearing dresses Boden is good for petite dresses.

I just bought this dress (full price!) for a funeral, I'm 5'2" and the length was perfect on me, just on the knee. COS quality is very good, the sale makes them even better value for money but you've got to see past the grumpy giraffe like models and make use of the search function to find things suitable for your shape.

Thanks both, you've given me some great places to start
