Where is good at the moment for cotton cardigans that

  1. Keep their shape
  2. Crew neck ideally
  3. Range of colours
  4. Reasonably priced so can go through washing machine with everything else
  5. Online preferable, though not essential

I have several Boden 'favourite cardigans' and they fit all your criteria. I always wait till they have a decent % offer before I buy though. They quite often go into the sale rooms they change the colour range every year. I've had one about five years and it's still looking good.

I got 2 100% cotton cardigans from Primark last week, £6 each! One black, one pink.

Not very glamorous I'm afraid & not online but I'm quite pleased with them.

Have you tried H&M? They usually have a good choice of colours.

TheBitterBoy · 18/03/2018 21:41

sale rooms? I mean sale, because they change the colour range etc

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/03/2018 21:51

H&M do some really nice 100% cotton ones.
I wash mine in a net bag to stop them stretching.

They are short though, hip-bone length /

Woolovers cotton/ silk mix are nice, wash well and keep their shape. I do put them in on the handwash setting though.

Petit bateau?

Octave777 · 19/03/2018 00:30

I think tesco do great crew neck cardigans.

DaisyWaisy · 19/03/2018 12:35

Uniqlo have lots of colours for £19.90

Floisme · 19/03/2018 13:02

The H&M ones are synthetic now - acrylic or viscose, can't remember which. They're calling it a 'new design'. It just may be the final nail in their coffin for me.

Like Daisy I would try Uniqlo first.

Floisme · 19/03/2018 13:05

Apologies, if the H&M ones are viscose then they're not strictly speaking synthetic. I wish I could remember what the label says. But they're no longer cotton.

Marks and Spencers school cardis, about a tenner. Size age 13-14 is about the same as adult size 12-14. OK colours are not very exciting (navy, blue, grey, black, red), but they are good quality cotton and they are v neck which I prefer.

Orphangirl · 19/03/2018 13:34

Meant to add they do crew necks also, but only wool mix as far as I can see. Used to rely on Gap, but their quality has plummeted.

RoseWhiteTips · 20/03/2018 11:05

Uniqlo.

shakedowntheground · 20/03/2018 11:50

Have had uniqlo before and rated so think I will again

Anyone rate the Joules ones?

Lands End Pima cotton range is excellent.
