Wedding ring in silver, titanium or tungsten?

Letseatgrandma · 18/03/2018 14:59

DH has lost his wedding ring so we were thinking of getting a cheap replacement. Can’t quite stretch to platinum at the moment and white gold is a pain as it needs dipping.

Has anyone (or their DH) had any of the above metals as a wddding ring and can recommend it? I know silver is quite soft so would it end up really scuffed?

Any comments or tips would be much appreciated!

I'd choose titanium, however, I think it's quite pricey.

Titanium isn’t pricey. £20 on Amazon. My friends had titanium wedding bands and have been really happy with them.

Dh's is tungsten. Its completely idiot proof --until the idiot takes it off to play with it and leaves it place unknown-

I gotta dh's for £60. Make sure it's snug though as can't be resized.

Ours are both Palladium. Wearing well so far.

We have titanium with silver inlay. Intention was to replace the silver with platinum when we could afford it. We still have the silver!
My engagement ring is titanium too. I love them.

My husband has titanium & it looks fine after 6 years. It was only about £60.

If you get natural white gold it's similar to titanium & quite nice. I wouldn't get silver as it's soft & gets bashed & scratched easily.
