work bag

I need a bag for work, need to carry iPad, a4 notebook, pens, lunch, flask make up and a change of clothes/gym stuff. I only really want one bag, so it either needs compartments or I could add a divider. I'm not keen on back packs or cross body bags but do get shoulder pain so I may need to give in. can anyone help please?

Forgot to say £150 max.

This is tricky! To carry what you describe you probably need a 20l backpack or two bags.

Carrying all of this in a large tote would be pretty hard on your back I think. Leather handbag type backpacks are not very good imo , the straps can be flimsy and they are heavy bags.

I'm afraid the only suggestion I have is to look at Dakine backpacks, their 'garden' bag is 20l and comes in loads of colours including plain black. It's also really comfy to carry.

Agree with pp re a lot to carry - sounds hold-all/back pack type work
I don't carry gym stuff/flask and still gravitate to 2 bags to spread the load but need to haul laptop and charger etc round

Is is worth splitting and having gym stuff in something like a Pliage and something more work like for your iPad/note books etc

yes I think maybe 2 bags might be easier thinking about it. Are there any totes around that are comfortable to wear over shoulder with wideish strap? what is a pliage?

It’s a Longchamp Pliage. Comes in many different colours.

thank you , the large totes look nice and big.
