Anyone fancy a 'wear it or share it' clothing thread?

Couldn’t think of a snappier title, sorry!

Wardrobe is full of all the things that have escaped Marie Kondo because I do like them, they do fit, they do fill me with joy, but I still don’t wear them!

Inspired by the beauty product hoarders thread, does anyone fancy a kind of ‘dig things out of the wardrobe and actually wear them or make peace with getting rid of them even though you love them’ sort of thread??

Currently today I am wearing a white slouchy top which I haven’t worn since having the dc as who can get away with wearing white with toddlers around? And so far today, Dh and 5 yo Ds have said how nice it is.

Also, clearly my thread title should have been:
Look great in it, or get donating it!!

Today: trying out jersey tops, which I have about 20 of. Now I’ve lost weight they don’t expose my stomach in the same way so can finally wear under a jumper for warmth. I intend to keep about 5 possibly, maybe a few extra for running or sleeping in.

I’m also going to hack the bottoms of three pairs of jeans (a Mantaray pair and two fat face pairs) where they’ve got stained and bleach on them, hopefully to make reasonable shorts for the summer.

I’ve listed 10 items on Facebook pages for joules/Boden/white stuff clothes so hopefully might sell a few.

Hello Grin

I'm not ready for a clear out yet.
Can't part with any winter stuff yet because it's still bloody winter and I often need layers so I do rewear jumpers a lot because they become a base layer when they're too shabby as outerwear.

In previous years I've fallen foul of clearing out summer clothes while it's still winter. I look at things and think 'I'll never wear that' then the sun comes out and I wish I'd kept it.
As I said on the other thread I want to buy some summer clothes to update my wardrobe.

I had a really ruthless clear out this time last year so maybe I still don't need to get rid of much after that.

Hi purple, I’m a bit the same when I get in a clear out mood. I tend to box it all up in the loft though, so every time I go up there I’m greeted with all these boxes of clothes!

Today I’m wearing a stripy jersey Top (once upon a time I had about 10, but I got rid in the cull). It has a scooped bottom hem which gives it a bit of a maternity vibe! Might be relegated to the charity pile after today.

Tried on a pair of size 10 (yay!) Mantaray jeans which fitted, but gave a weird spiky bit on the inside thigh which sends needles into me. I’ve put them to wash and will try to find the offending spike, but otherwise they’ll have to go.

Sold a joules dress on Ebay as although it’s lovely it’s just too, too flowery for me with too much pink. So I’m £15 up this morning! And made 3 pairs of cut off shorts yesterday from old jeans, just need to sit and hem them tonight and then put them away for summer.
