On the look out for a new foundation.... Needs to be medium coverage and long lasting!

Any recommendations?

Lancôme teint idols is fantastic but if you're looking for something less pricey then revlon colourstay is great and has a lovely satin finish

Estée Lauder Double wear

Runlovingmummy81 · 16/03/2018 21:19

I've tried the EL one before but it's quite drying on my skin?

YSL touche eclat foundation is lovely. At the cheaper end I like bourjois healthy mix.

Bobbi Brown Serum foundation is delicious. Also Hello Flawless by Benfit. They’re similar to each other, medium coverage with a light dewy finish to it.

Try the new Nars longwear one: light, covers everything, glowy and lasts all day.

Thank you!

I second the Touche Eclat. Is the only liquid I'll use. I think you'll be best avoiding the Lancôme if Double Wear dries you out (Lancôme Teinte D'Idole has alcohol in). If you fancy trying a mineral powder Lily Lolo is brilliant and is a long lasting medium coverage. I also followed the online hype and tried the Nivea Men Post Shave Balm as primer and it is surprisingly good for prolonging makeup wear (I don't like the heavy feel of most normal primers)

I really like Bourjois Healthy Mix serum (non serum version too drying for my skin)

IWouldLikeToKnow · 17/03/2018 08:49

I'm using Bare Minerals original foundation. It's pretty decent coverage and really comfortable on your skin, but I've yet to find a long lasting one apart from EL double wear (which I hated the feel of).

Runlovingmummy81 · 17/03/2018 09:21

I currently use the bare minerals one but don't find it lasts

Seriously try the Nivea Post Shave under your mineral, extends for hours.

Lonelystarbuckslover · 17/03/2018 17:27

Armani is the business

Runlovingmummy81 · 17/03/2018 18:34

Does the post shave smell though? X

BobLoblawLawBlog · 17/03/2018 19:03

Smells for about a minute then fades away

Runlovingmummy81 · 17/03/2018 19:07

OK will give it ago!
