Has anyone tried this before? I've got brown coloured hair at the moment just want more of a rich brown, how is it for covering stubborn grey, resistant hair? I'm thiinking of trying the Light Golden Chestnut colour as I know they tend to turn out darker anyway which is what I want.

Watching with interest! I have a lot of warmth in my hair (typical mousey brown with greys!) so looking for an Ash Brown.

It doesn’t work on mine.

Oh I just found a colour that I liked as well! It was light golden chestnut that was used. I haven't much/ hardly any as in terms of root growth/greys at the moment, I wonder if it'll take.

I love it - perfect colour match for me and easy to use - but it is no more capable of covering resistant greys in one go than any other hair colour. You need to presoften, which is a pain in the arse but works.

I have wondered if it would colour grey hair well too.My hair is resistant to dyes.
Thefirstmrsdewinter how do you presoften hair before dying?

Just thought I'd report back as I used the naturtint last night!

My hair is, fortunately, quite thick & just past shoulder length. I got the colour light golden chestnut. I got quite a lot of hair fall with this dye, a lot more than any other brand I've used before, a bit came out whilst I was applying the dye & loads came out in the shower when washing & rinsing. I used one box & I did get a little panicky that I wouldn't have enough!

The colour has come out quite dark, it's kind of like a dark brown. It's looking more of a ashy brown though rather than being on the warm side, although it may wash up a bit warmer, it's not like the picture I posted earlier.

The CC anti- aging cream you get in the box, which you use after washing & conditioning you hair & before blow drying/styling is lovely, that's what made my hair really soft.

I'm not sure I'd re-purchase though, the hair fall put me off. I can't really say if it'll cover greys/stubborn hair as my roots haven't really come though yet.

My hair is so resistant that even presoftening fails so I have to bleach and then colour.

For staying power and coming out true to shade I find Majirel unbeatable. It leaves the hair in great condition too and you can just mix up enough to go over the roots so cost effective.

The shade you have up there looks like a 4.45 in Majirel.
