What hair dye?

I usually get my colour done at the hairdressers but it often seems to go wrong and changes colour after a few washes.

I've just had a baby so not really up for going back and spending hours getting it corrected. I just need an ash blonde put over it (it's gone a yuk ginger colour)

Does anyone have any recommendations for home hair dyes?

i am ash blonde and have used lots of different home colours, i find the best for me is l'oreal excellence cream in light ash blonde. the ash blonde shade is ok too but can come out a little dark sometimes. a lot of people like nice and easy but i found that brand too strong, it hurt my scalp.
