Are Asos leather shoes any good?

I have seen a really well priced pair of leather loafers on Asos - has anyone any experience of how comfortable they are and what the quality is like in general.

I have a pair of rose gold leather brogues I got from Asos on deep discount when they were one of the only pairs left. They may run a bit small (I often find an 8 a bit big but this pair is quite snug) but aside from that they're ace. I get more compliments on them than I do on shoes that cost much more.

I've got three pairs. They do look good, and I've received compliments on all of them, but the quality is poor. I think of them as disposable, you might get 3-4 months if you're careful, like supermarket shoes.

If they are cheap, it's tough, reconstituted leather which may as well be synthetic. The slightly more expensive ones are better.

I bought these for DD at Xmas, they are beautiful and look so expensive.
