Pleated midi skirts- are these passé now?

I have a christening and an afternoon tea coming up- I need an outfit and want something that’ll be good for both.

I’m thinking a pleated midi skirt with a plain Cami? But are these a bit last year (I’m not fashionable- I live in converse and jeans). I’m also thinking can I wear the midi with a biker and white trainers to the afternoon tea?

I’m slim-ish and tall-ish but I have no waist.... do you think I should skip this?? And if so- any ideas...

They will never.be.passe Shock Grin

Sounds perfect 👌

I'm not sure and they are hard to pull off. A cami also sounds a bit bare for both events. I guess you have a jacket to wear too?

I don’t think they are passé, but I agree with bluntness that they can be tricky. I have a fab Zara one, which is super flattering, and an equally fab New Look one, which makes me look like an elephant. (I’m a size 10.) I think you might need to try on quite a few to find a good one.

Thanks for the advice... I might stick to something easier!
