Tips on applying Estee Lauder DW foundation?

Hi, I've got a sample of DW (the original) but when i apply with a dense foundation brush it streaks and doesn't blend properly. Don't want to buy unless i can put it on! :)

I'm using Bourjois healthy mix atm which blends in perfectly so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong with DW.

Any tips will be appreciated!

I use a beauty blender (one of those little round sponges) and it works a dream. I dampen the beauty blender first then use it to apply DW and it gives a dewy finish- for a matte look you can do it using a dry sponge.

Do you use a primer? I use the urban decay primer and it helps everything to blend in smoothly

You need to use a damp brush or beauty blender. Use water or spray with your setting spray before using it.

I just use my fingers to apply and blend then set with DW powder using a powder brush
