Help with wedding make up

So, my best friend is getting married in September. She doesn't 'do' make up and is kind of a fresh faced, countryside kind of girl.

We've got a department store near us which does Bare Minerals, Benefit and Clinique - we're going to go and get a try out and she's gong to treat herself to the full whack - problem is, which one do we go for?

Any recommendations?

I don't really wear much makeup normally and I wanted to look 'myself' on the day so I did my own makeup. I was worried a professional wouldn't listen and give me a full face regardless. I chose Clarins and Benefit. Benefit do little eye makeup kits with instructions of what to put where so she can practice if like me, she's a bit crap at it.

try it out and see what the groom thinks. If he's used to a good looking girl and gets confronted with red and black circles, Kryten-stripes for 'contouring' and a coating of beige, he may run for the hills or fall about laughing.

keep an open mind on this, overdone makeup and overdone hair has made many a bride look a joke.
