Styling a mum bob

Hello, I asked for a hair cut a bit like this, ended up looking like a mum bob on me Sad
I have loads of fuzzy hair, and even the most careful blow dry doesn't leave me frizz free, does anyone else use a hot brush or air styler? I'm completely useless with my hair, no matter how hard I try. Any recommendations for a life changing tool please? I was considering the one attached

I have a hot brush thing, it's quite good to iron out mistakes if my hair curls the wrong way.
A good hairdryer is key IMO and a decent hairbrush, get a brush that is the same as the ones they use in the salon. Over the years I've watched how stylists dry my hair and a decent salon will be more than happy to give you tips if you ask.
I put heat protect through my hair, I'm a sucker for salon grade products as IMO they give noticeably better results. I usually get my hairdresser to recomend and haven't been let down yet.
