I use Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere which I'm happy with. Good coverage but still looks quite natural.

shouldaknownbetter · 10/03/2018 17:49

I use YSL Fusion Ink which is great coverage not too thick, that's what I use in winter/autumn anyway by summer I have usually tanned a bit and go for something a bit lighter.

cessie322 · 10/03/2018 18:13

I'm using Nars Sheer glow and I really like it.

fresh · 10/03/2018 18:18

Another vote for Nars Sheer Glow. A little goes a long way.

thethoughtfox · 10/03/2018 18:20

The new Nars longwear one is lovely: thin, light texture, covers everything smooths out forehead lines, leaves a lovely glow and lasts all day.

thethoughtfox · 10/03/2018 18:22

A tiny sweep of the Charlotte Tibury Airbrush Powder over forehead and other lines makes them almost disappear. It has rose oil or wax in it so doesn't look powdery

There's a woman on Youtube who reviews stuff for more mature skin..her reviews are really thorough.
She rates Chanel velvet somehitng as the best..but she's done so many reviews ..worth a look

ignore the awful Hot and flashy name .

And use a good quality foundation brush, you get a much better finish. Clinique do a good one.

PerfumeIsAMessage · 10/03/2018 19:00

I have Chanel Perfection Lumiere from that list and wouldn't repurchase. It's OK, but n7 Lift and Luminate is way better!

ggirl · 10/03/2018 19:42

PerfumeIsAMessage - I use the IT cosmetics one or chanel cc cream..using less base now I'm decrepit

still searching for the best eyeliner pencil for oily lids ..have tried chanel , BB, dior (best) , and EL as well as loads of others ..still no holy grail

Fullfatlatte · 10/03/2018 19:50

I’m 46 & can highly recommend the foundation stick & tinted moisturiser from Bobbi Brown, their illuminating powder is also fab (along with their Soothing cleansing oil!) I’ve used many of the other brands & wish I’d discovered BB years ago! I used the Chanel in my 30’s & remember it was also very good. Good luck Smile

shouldaknownbetter · 10/03/2018 21:57

Clinique do do a good foundation brush (the buff brush?) but it is v pricey. I found a just-as-good one for a fraction of the prize on Amazon, it's by bella & bear, it's the flat top kabuki.
