Matte rose gold nail polish?

Does anyone know where I can get my mitts on such a thing? I'd settle for a decent rose gold polish that isn't matte (I could use a top coat) but I'd rather do without the hassle. The idea was inspired by the rose gold matte liquid lipstick that I have, and seeing some matte rose gold sequins on a dress, and wondering if I could find a nail polish to go with my lippy.

Can you use a matte top coat?

FreeNiki · 09/03/2018 21:15

Not really matte but rose gold and looks awesome.

The pale lilac bottle is great too.

love it

As FreeNiki said, the Nails Inc polish is lovely. Here’s what it looks like on me. Would be fine with a matte top coat! I love it!

Matte rose gold nail polish?
FreeNiki · 09/03/2018 21:22

@ProblematicWonder Shock haven't done it on alternate nails yet.

Must do !

ProblematicWonder · 09/03/2018 21:23

@FreeNiki I think it balances quite well! I love the Nails Inc duos, I have the holographic one too Grin

FreeNiki · 09/03/2018 21:28

@ProblematicWonder I'm going to do it tomorrow now Grin

I just bought the nails inc mermaid duo Blush

doublebuddy · 09/03/2018 21:30

I find Barry M has theeeee best selection of colours, especially metallics

Is this one rose gold enough? Then if you wanted it Matt you could use their Matt top coat?

doublebuddy · 09/03/2018 21:31

Dammit did I not upload the pic?

ProblematicWonder · 09/03/2018 21:31

@FreeNiki Shock me too! I’d been holding off but couldn’t resist!!!!

Talisin · 09/03/2018 21:35

Essie’s Penny Talk is a good rose gold. Not matte but closer to it than most.

FreeNiki · 09/03/2018 21:36

@ProblematicWonder is it wrong to want to buy the champagne duo too 🍾

SapphireSeptember · 09/03/2018 22:05

Thank you for your suggestions people, I'm off to Google! Grin The Essie one is the sort of colour I had in mind, although the OPI and Nails Inc ones are lovely too. I already have a matte top coat, (by Nails Inc incidentally. Grin ) Might have to get it out.

doublebuddy No, I can't see it. Which Barry M one was it?

ProblematicWonder · 09/03/2018 22:06

@FreeNiki I have resisted the temptation of the Champagne duo because I think one of the colours is too light for me; I’m so pale!!

FreeNiki · 09/03/2018 22:08

@ProblematicWonder ah I have that problem too. So maybe not!

Ollivander84 · 09/03/2018 22:14

If anyone likes nail polish, I can recommend this site. Some amazing colours on it and you can shop by brand or finish

OP, it's called Razzle Dazzle from the liquid chrome collection methinks

LanguidLobster · 09/03/2018 23:17

The Nailberry pink sand polish looks gorgeous, haven't bought it as yet and not sure if it's matte enough for you

peonylover22 · 10/03/2018 06:55

Oooh that Nailberry one is gorgeous

SapphireSeptember · 10/03/2018 14:54

Hello lovely people! I've just ordered this from the Claire's website.
www.claires.com/matte-metallic-rose-gold-nail-polish-8563.html?lang=en_GB#q=Matte%2Bnail%2Bpolish&lang=en_GB&start=23
I actually think their polishes are pretty good (I have some neon glitter ones I love) so I can't wait to try it. (Champagne tastes, beer money.) That Nailberry one looks gorgeous, but how much for a nail polish? Shock

Agree with PP on Barry M having the best metallics. They have the perfect 'dull' rose gold if that makes sense.

Leighton Denny ones are far too gloopy & difficult to apply with that brush design.
