canvas bag that doesnt look naff ?

can anyone recommend a cross body bag , i will use it for dog walking but maybe other things too so something that looks ok for both ?
some sort of neutral colour ?

Canvas bags are usually on shoulder and cross body are worn around the body and hang by the waist. Which one would you prefer recommendations for?

i was thinking of cross body , so my hands are free but maybe a fabric rather than a leather one .

I bought it to replace a similar one I had years ago from a shop in The Lanes in Brighton that was just the Greatest Bag Ever. It didn’t have as many flappy bits as the eBay one and was nicer quality. The label inside said W.I.P. - if anyone k ones where I can get another I’d be eternally grateful!!

If you search for an oilcloth cross body bag, rather than canvas, then you'll find lots of the sort of thing I think you're after.

Thanks @farfel but not quite!! It was definitely not Carharrt. I searched a lot online at the time of its demise and couldn’t find WIP then, so I suspect Carharrt has bought the brand since, but I don’t actually know whether it’s the right brand or not anyway IYSWIM. The straps and fastenings on mine were nubuck and metal rather than webbing and plastic. Ahh I loved that bag. Thanks anyway!

What about the Kipling bags?

I was going to suggest Kipling too. They do all sorts of shapes and sizes and are incredibly hard-wearing.

I have couple of Kipling bags for holidays and they also seem fairly water resistant. Amazon and TK Maxx is generally most reasonably priced for these
