Can anyone give me an idea of prices please

I've been quoted nearly 900 for 60cm long extensions.
This is without a colour.
Thanks!

I paid £150 for weft extensions and then it's £40 every six weeks or so as my hair grows for then to be refitted and my hair trimmed. The extensions, with good care, last me around 10-12 months.

Thanks.
Where did you Have them done?

The one I've been quoted are for the keratin (sp) bonding ones.

A salon near Manchester. I've been really pleased with them - they're comfortable and look really natural.

DanceDanceDance80 · 08/03/2018 18:17

Is it a well known salon or an independent salon?

That is a lot of money. I don't know much about hair extensions but am nosy and curious as to solutions for my thinning lank hair.

I pay £270 for mine (around 100 keratin bonds 18") the lady comes to me but the hair is colour matched to mine. I have it done every 4 months. I'd say £900 is expensive but it depends, will they last you up to a year. The majority I know need good maintenance to keep your own hair healthy

DanceDanceDance80 · 08/03/2018 18:31

The hairdresser said they should last 3 maybe 4 months....

blueshoes that's the reason I had my weft extensions done - because my own hair is thin and lank. My hair was a chin-length bob and I've never been able to grow it because it's so fine and thin it looked awful. The extensions were cut in to my own hair length, and the difference is astounding. My hair looks so thick now - the extensions have made a huge difference. I also spend a lot less time styling - it tends to look good regardless. I don't think I'll ever go back to just my own hair again. I am growing my hair a bit as I'd like shoulder length, but for me the extensions were about getting thickness than length.

DanceDanceDance It's an independent salon. Happy to PM you the details if you're interested.
