Just ordered some bits from the ordinary. I'm fancying the 2% retinol but dare not until I've some decent sun screen sorted out.

I currently have spf 15 in my foundation but think i will need spf 30 or 50 if im using the retinoids.

No idea what to buy. Last spf 50 I put on my face was like zinc and castor oil cream Hmm

Any advice or recommendations most gratefully received Grin

You could just use the 2% in the evening. That's what I do anyway - pretty sure I read this on the website.

I use my retinoids at night only then my usual sunscreen in the day

Biore watery essence is the only sunscreen that doesn't sit on my skin and make my make up slide off my face.

I might me being a little stupid, but don't you need to wear a sunscreen regardless of when you use retinols? I haven't used a retinol yet as I'm not in the habit of using a sunscreen quite yet. I'm getting better at it though Grin

I think so McDougal, but thought I would need a stronger spf than 15 if using retinol. I'll have a look at Biore as I still want to wear make up Smile
