Foundation settling in pores

Is it my technique or the products?

I’ve been moisturising regularly and exfoliating occasionally.

I’ve got a green toned primer (W7 brand I think) and a Rimmel foundation. It was a really good colour match as I’m very pale but with lots of redness. I used to use Boots number 7. I’m happy to spend more but I was limited into what was in the local shops until I can make a trip into the city.

I haven’t worn makeup for years but I’m having a bit of a look better to feel better phase.

Any tips for tomorrow?

Unfortunately this is a hazard of ageing. Try a silicone pore-filler like Porefessional.

You could get pore reducing primer think Benefit does one. and everyone raves about irm not tried it myself. Im also trying to find a good primer to prevent foundation settling in lines.
I must say The Ordinary does a great primer ao cheap too. feels like a moisturiser. 3.90 or something. the high adherence primer Star

Thanks. A few things to try. Products from The Ordinary crop up a lot. I may need an order!
