Foundation without an SPF

Good evening all,

I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies could recommend a good light to mid-coverage foundation that doesn't have an SPF in it? Ideally something that suits a very pale (yellow undertones) skin and doesn't go cakey after a few hours? I use Super City Block during the day so I don't really need any extra SPF, but I notice that at night I look really washed out on pictures and wondered if the spf in my current base (Clinique Superbalance) might be partly responsible?

I miss Prescriptives so much!

Laura Mercier Candleglow doesn’t have SPF, and nor does one of the Armani foundations, I think. Look up foundations for weddings, they advise that you skip spf for photos so lots of the recommendations for brides are spf-free.

Brilliant - thank you will look into those.

Which superbalanced are you using? Superbalanced silk has SPF, however the original doesn’t so more likely to be your city block making you look washed out in pics.
Alternatively YSL Touché Eclat has no SPF and gives a good coverage
