What would you do with this hair style? (Pic)

I've had the same hairstyle for as many years as I can remember!
I'm 38 and desperate for a restyle. Any ideas?
Do t want to go too short but would like some different colour.

You could bob it and keep your fringe. You said your hairs not very thick, so that could work quite well!

Definitely a few inches off, you could sweep the fringe to the side.

Do you want highlights? It does look very thick!

I think a shoulder length bob with a blunter fringe would look good

It looks lovely and thick, but if not, have you looked at a just below shoulders length with long layers.

But if you are willing to take the plunge I think a sharp bob would look amazing!

I would get it cut and layered, with the longest bits just hitting your shoulders. I would also get some lowlights put through it, some darkish red and maybe some brighter ones through the fringe.

I really like your hair. Do you do anything with it like put it up or do a fishtail plait for instance or just wear it down all the time?

Hope that works. Also I know that link says styles for thick hair and you said your hair isn't thick but ignore that part!

I have similar hair but shorter. I am having mine cut this weekend shorter at. the back and longer at the sides.

I'd take an inch and a half off the length, would look much thicker and healthier. Grow your fringe for summer and get some highlights. Not blonde but like a light caramel brown. Could even do it bayalage effect. Would look lovely.

Failing that a very dark but vibrant copper would be nice.

I'd get it trimmed to clavicle length, get a side parting and fringe, and have a reddish/mahogany gloss colour put in x
