Matalan sizing?

How is Matalan's sizing compared to Next, Tesco, Asda or Sainsbury's? There are a few bits I want to order online but have never bought anything from there before so have no idea about their sizing. Currently sitting in size 10 contour jeans from Tesco and a size 10 basic Next t-shirt.

Has been a while (4 years?) but I think when I was a 10 in Next I was also a 10 in Matalan, or sometimes a 12. Possible that this info is out of date now!

I'm usually size 10 in Matalan as I am elsewhere but have bought a 12 in vest tops as find they aren't very generous in size. It's my go-to for office wear so I mostly buy my work trousers, shirts and cardi's from there!

Generally need a bigger size. Quality isnt great either. Primark is well better

I get my jeggings from there. I find they are true to size and wash well. I also size up from 12 to 14 for vest tops.

Thank you the best thing to do is probably pop in and try on. Not to bothered about quality just want some comfy bottoms and lightweight t-shirts to put on to pick kids up from activities that finish at 8:30 most nights. I like to bath in peace why they are out and can't face getting dressed back in jeans, would go I pj's but don't think the dd's would be happy.

I think Matalan comes up small.

Sorry it’s late... i am a 10-12 in ASDA, just been to matalan and nothing in 10-14 would go anywhere near fitting. Ended up trying on different sizes to see what I was there, a size 20! Needless to say I didn’t buy anything. Spoke to the manager and when we measured a top in my car from Asda in a size 10, to a size 14 top in matalan in the same style, the matalan too was about 4 inches smaller! Ridiculous.

Well I've just brought a dress from Matalan in a size 10 and it's too big. I'm usually a size 10 in asda , Tesco etc . I ordered online so gotta send it back now . The dress I've brought in my opinion is running on the big side. Cos no way am i a size 8 😂

I think they're quite big! Similar to Tu.

I think they run ever so slightly generously. A fraction above "true to size". I'm an 8-10 in Oasis but an 8 in Next (and Matalan).
