Permanent hair removal

Is there such a thing? I have always had a couple of black chin hairs, but they are increasing in number and when they are too short to pluck, they look like blackheads and feel like bristles. I'd love to find a permanent solution, even if it only turns them lighter in colour and softer to the touch - I'd be happy with that. Any experiences?

I came in here for a read and to write my own thread of a similar nature.

I was about 25/26 years old when I first noticed hair on my chin and I've been using a tweezers and plucking since then. I'm now nearly 36 years old and the problem has got worse.

I was sick over the past week and neglected myself. Looking in the mirror and the state of my chin.

I read that laser hair removal is supposed to be good. I never tried it though.

Theres even home laser machines and I'm considering on going down this route if I was to get a machine on special offer.

Has anyone tried laser hair removal or the home laser machines for facial hair removal?
