Confusing skirt!

It's probably just me and you lovely MNetters will have an immediate and unanimous answer for me. I bought this skirt a while ago, but which way round does it bloody go?

The position of the label indicates that the pockets and split are at the front. But surely this is madness?! Or is it a style development post-1980 that has passed me by?

Yes label at the back so yes the split and pockets front.

I’d guess the slit and pockets go to the front. The seams on the other side appear to make it fit your arse.

I wore it the other day with pockets and split to the front and it just felt all kinds of wrong. This skirt is messing with my head.

Try it with split to the back and see which way you prefer?

I tried it well but even though no-one else could see it I knew the label was in the wrong place, and frankly I was disturbed.

I'm going to have to get a grip, one way or another.

Un pick the label and wear it which ever way you prefer.

Funfact - we had a supply teacher who the same skirt for a whole term, alternating each day; split at the front / split at the back.

I suggest you don’t do this unless you want your 4th form girls to mock you solidly...
