After some smart wedges? Does such a thing exist ?

Hi LardLizard. When you say 'smart' do you mean closed in wedges that you can wear to work?

They definitely exist but I haven't seem them around much lately. I have no idea if these are your style but I've seen some wedges from Toms (the style is called desert wedges) and Fly London (there are some very odd styles on Fly London but there is a plain leather black pair of wedges). I saw some Hush Puppies low black wedges, the style is called Jalaina.

It's really hard to find cute, stylish and formal wedges. Good luck

Also LK Bennett make some very pretty espadrilles. You can always wear espadrilles and a smart outfit. If you google Kate Middleton and espadrilles she looks very chic and elegant. There is also a lovely espadrille label called Castaner on net a porter??

I've just found some really nice ones from Tory Burch. They are really pretty but I don't know how to add pictures. The style is called Chelsea wedge and it comes in black, tan, and baby pink!

I may be over invested in your wedges quest...Sorry!

I'm also looking for a pair but trying to find real leather, non-suede shoes, which is a challenge in itself! Those Tory Burch ones are gorgeous but slightly out of my price range and I'm not keen on her logo being plastered across the toe. It really puts me off her stuff!
