Dreadful fringe trim!

I wear my fringe straight across, blunt and on my eye brow.
Yesterday, I went into my hairdressers and asked for a tiny fringe trim. My usual hairdresser was busy, so another said she would do it.

So, she has cut it far too short and crooked. It is almost in the shape of an arch; so down at either side and up in the middle. Dreadful. Not sure what to do. Leave it and wait for it to grow? Go back and ask another hair dresser to at least make it even ? Furious as it looks as though she has just hacked into it!

They always do that to mine... too short. If you go back it'll end up even shorter. Can you just trim the droopy sides yourself? I do mine with tiny notching sewing scissors.

Yes thenightsky, I could try as I have some sharp hairdressing scissors. Trouble is, the crooked bit is bang in the middle of the arch. I could just part it, until it grows I suppose.

Bandana??

This happened to me!
I asked for a tiny bit, and to leave it on my eyebrows.
The hairdresser was very diligent- cut! cut! Much more effort than anyone had ever made.
Then l saw why.
A sort of n shape on my forehead!
Apparently it looks very nice according to friends.
My DH asked if ld done it myself?

We have to hang on to the fact that hair grows very fast!
I imagine that in a couple of weeks it’ll be ok.
The one good thing about it is, it seems to stay in place better.

Fringes grow so fast or at least mine did that in a week or two go to your own hairdresser and get them to fix it and then never let anyone else near it Grin I know no help op but it will be better in no time. Clip it out of the way for long

This happened to my dd's hair the week before Xmas. It was fine by 2nd week in Jan.

Thanks all, feel a bit better now. I know it will grow our soon enough, but a watched kettle and all that. Never again will that stylist touch my hair. Actually come to think of it, she is ALWAYS the hairdresser available and doing nothing.. 🤔
