Looking for an evening outfit in this sort of style:

Or this

I think it is called a flippy dress? Some cinched at the waist but flaring out over hips and bottom. Anyone seen any? Preferably with stock in a size 12? Would prefer not black

Never heard it described as a flippy dress... I would call it a tea dress. Tigermilly have some lovely ones

Also if they arent your style, I've just done a quick search on debenhams for tea dress and there's lots of options there as well

Thank you Fieau, you are right, tea dresses are definitely the same shape as flippy dresses. The only thing is I’m looking for a dress / outfit for a couple of evening events in April. All the tea dresses look quite Day to me? How would you style them to make them evening wear? Events are posh dinner and a drinks reception.

Lots of places call these dresses 'fit and flare'

Do you have a shop called Joy nearby? They sell lots of tea dresses
