'Cream' blush

Hi everyone,

Please don't laugh at me. I am not very good at this stuff

I bought a new blusher the other day and rather than a powder it has more of a lipstick consistency and I have no idea how to apply it.So far I have been using my fingers but I'm finding it quite difficult to not look clown-like.

It's not this exact one but something similar

Have I in fact accidentally bought lipstick? Or is this how blusher comes these days?

Please help a hopeless cause...

I love cream blush. My tips:

Apply powder AFTER, as it will look cakey otherwise.

Use a blender sponge.

Always moisturise first.
