What 20 items to buy for S/S 18?

I'm asking about my casual wardrobe as I have plenty of workwear clothes.

I think my casual spring/summer wardrobe needs an update.
I've got some basics but it all needs a refresh.

If you could buy 20 pieces to add to your existing wardrobe and make yourself look more current what would you or will you be buying?

I'd need a bigger bag than that and I tend to put handbags through hell their paces so I'd kill a raffia handbag in days.

Laquila How about these Tevas, many will boak at the suggestion but if you like Birkenstocks I'm taking a punt you might consider them, style wise. Supremely comfortable, more cushioned than Birkenstocks IMO.

Purple I've gone crazy for tiny crossbody bags after years of carrying changing bags. I bought 4 new bags last year and only one was a decent size (tote for work big enough to carry my laptop), the others are strictly phone, keys, purse.

Not current but I want the following to update my summer capsule-

Silver thong sandals
Navy maxy dress
Bold sterling silver bangle
Black maxi dress
Navy suede sandals
Straw/raffia large shoulder bag
Tan across the body bag
Cropped cashmere cardigans in black, taupe and navy
Long silver pendant
Plain white canvas trainers
New summer perfume
Cropped denim leggings
Breton tunic
Linen slouchy jumpers in dove grey and taupe
Wide leg linen trousers in dove grey and ecru.

Oh I'm with you on the small bags thing Count I've tried but end up carrying an extra bag too.
I'm sure I should do some Kondo thing on the sheer volume of crap I walk around with but the stuff seems to follow me around.

Have you found any linen slouchy jumpers Frankie? Asking for a friend, like.

I bought a lovely small navy cross body bag from De Mellier London a few weeks ago. Definitely treat pricing, but I absolutely love it.

Tried it on today and it hung really nicely but I wasn’t sure about the embroidery and it’s not exactly cheap so left it in the shop...

I really want some low heeled pink suede sling backs (ala the hush catalogue but not for £115 quid )

That jacket is lovely peony, it's pricey but not extortionate but to pay that sort of money for it I'd say you have to love it.
If you can't stop thinking about it in a week or twos time then buy it, if you still aren't sure then wait for the sales.

I'm going to have to take a look at Hush, aren't I?
