I can’t believe I’m asking this! But alas, I am now 34 and I’m seeing the signs.
Sagging cheeks, another couple years and I’ll have jowls!
Deep lines between my eyebrows, fine wrinkles around my eyes.
Open pores all over the place.

I work outdoors so that hasn’t helped over the years I guess! But I do use sun screen when the sun’s out!
I’ll be using it a lot more from now on as a full time replacement.

So i need a decent nighttime cream as I don’t think my Lush one is up to scratch tbh!

Any recommendations?!

Someone on here recommended the M&S sleep cream and they were right - I love it. I also had a really good one from Aldi once so might be worth a look if you're near one.

I second the M&S Sleep Cream. Brilliant stuff.

SukiTheDog · 05/03/2018 17:15

Why’s the M&S sleep cream so good. Might it work for a not overly wrinkled but tired looking 55 yr old?

OP, I use the Indeed Labs Retinol Reface at night after reading good reviews. It’s brightened my skin immeasurably and seems to have had a good effect on pores. However, I still use Aveeno Cream once it soaked in as my skin is very dry.

Thanks!
I’ll take a look at the m&s one. Do you know what the active ingredient is?

Is the Aldi one the Lacura Q10?

Garnier ultra lift day cream in the red container.
I prefer the plain one without the sun protection in.
I have tried the other products in this range but none of them work as well as the plain day cream!

I have used lots of different face creams over the years from cheap to expensive but this is the only cream that takes away my wrinkles round my mouth and between my eyes.
If you shop carefully it's only £5/£6!

I have bought the Avon reveralist night cream. It might be overhyped but i definitely see a difference after just one night. My face might be a flaky spotty mess by the end of the week but all good so far! And £16 on Amazon

OP, I think it was the Caviar Night Cream from Aldi that I tried - it was definitely a blue jar with a silver lid.

I just checked the M&S sleep cream jar and it doesn't list the ingredients. Think they were on the box which has gone out.

@Suki my Mum in her late 60s also loves the M&S sleep cream so I think it's definitely worth you trying it although the one you're already using sounds pretty good anyway.

I like Aldi midnight power cream in the purple pot, It's lovely and there was a thread on here about it being a dupe for the m and s one.

Just an update - I ordered that My Trusty Face oil (the one where all proceeds go to the NHS - again after someone recommended it on here!) and it arrived yesterday. I don't know if it's just a first time one off but I put it on under my M&S sleep cream last night and I cannot believe how good my skin looks this morning! I'm amazed.
