Dress for a 9yr old for a funeral

We have DH's grandmother's funeral at the end of the week, I'm not sure what DD should wear. Would this be appropriate with a cardigan? Most of her clothes are too bright

Thanks, I want her to look smart, and the school uniform is looking a bit worn, mainly art lesson and school dinner stains that never fully come out. I've found a few options in navy on the John Lewis website that I've ordered. I went through DD's wardrobe and everything is quite light, especially all the dresses. The coat is going to be bright regardless, not much I'm going to do about that at this stage
