Eyebrow tinting for those with some grey hairs

Being quite a bit over 50 now I've noticed that in the last five or so years more and more grey hairs have appeared. In fact worryingly they are actually coming through white and thicker than my brown ones.

Prior to all this I didn't wear eyebrow pencil but now use it avidly as my eyebrows continue to disappear, or at least fade. I've never tinted my eyebrows as I'm picky about the colour and worry that I will end up dying them an odd colour that looks awful. As more and more white hairs appear though I'm thinking of trying to dye then lightly myself.

Could anyone recommend a good brand and give any tips? I'm quite fair haired and usually use a dark blonde eye pencil.

I get my eyebrows threaded and tinted professionally every couple of months. Would you not rather get someone to dye them for you, as they would be more experienced, than trying to do it yourself? I’m really fair and have blonde hair so I get a mid brown dye and I feel it helps define my face really well.

I get mine threaded regularly. I thought I'd have a bit more control of the colour if I did them myself to be honest and did them quite lightly. I see a few people who seem to have dark eyebrows when they've just had them tinted and lighter ones at the end of the month. I was hoping to do them lightly regularly so that they look pretty much the same all the time.

I use Nice n Easy root touch up to dye my eyebrows.
I'm sure it's not recommended for eyebrows but I like it because you get a better choice of colours than 'proper' eyebrow dye, which tends to be Brown or Black.

I make up just a little at a time and a single box has lasted for half a dozen dye jobs

I am fairish and have embraced the grey. I use dark blonde and grey eyebrow pencils together, but the best thing is to dye them with Refectocil. I bought the grey, but strangely it dyes the greys in my brows back to dark blonde, which is just right! You could try leaving it on for 5 mins instead of 10. I do it about every three weeks. It's an absolute bargain too as there are so many applications from one tube/bottle.
