This dress with boots for funeral?

I am going to my grandma's funeral on Friday and have nothing to wear as I have put some weight on so my clothes aren't fitting well. I was wondering about this dress but need to be able to wear with boots as the cemetery and the actual grave is on a steep hill, in mid Wales, which is snow covered at moment.

Do you think this dress would work with boots and thick black tights or would I be better trying to get trousers and top?

So sorry for your loss. It's a lovely dress and I think will work fine with boots.

The dress is lovely. Although, at this time of year you will be wearing a thick warm coat so no-one will notice what you are wearing underneath.

Last time I went to a winter funeral I wore a dark green dress, but my coat is black so it didn't really matter that my dress wasn't.
