Eye liner or mascara first?

I always do mascara first. I don’t know why. I don’t always wear liner maybe!

Eyeliner first definitely, i wouldn't be able to apply it properly through mascared lashes!

Eyeliner first for the same reason as Twilight. How would you get it on evenly through mascara? Mine would look even wonkier than it usually does

I use a pencil and blend/soften the line slightly. If I did that after mascara I'd smudge the mascara everywhere.

Hmm I've tried both ways, in really not sure what's best, I wonder what the make up professionals do?
Either way I do it it skyways looks shit 😂

if im using liquid liner i find when i curl my lashes to apply mascara it smudges so i now do mascara first. works better.

Liner first; can’t imagine getting a smooth line if you have to work around “done” lashes.

Eyeliner always.

Has to be eyeliner first. I have to hold down my eyelids to put it on so the mascara would smudge everywhere if it were in first.

I trained as a beautician, and eyeliner first. Allows you to get nearer to the lashess.

Eyeliner for me. I do a bad enough job applying it without adding mascara on my eyelashes!

Eyeliner first. Try a brown eyeliner ( Mac teddy!) rather than grey or black, much more flattering and easier to disguise mistakes. Only one mascara I've ever used left my lashes soft enough to apply liner after, but then it smudged on blending

I curl eyelashes, then eyeliner and lastly mascara. Took me long enough to realise the curler kept smudging the liner.

What about eye shadow? Before of after liner?

Eyeshadow, eyeliner (with a bit more eyeshadow over the eyeliner on the rare occasions I go out and try to attempt a smokey eye) and then mascara.

Would find it really difficult to put eyeliner on after mascara for some reason.
