Hi anyone ever tried the above? Would you recommend it?

I like it....but haven't bought it recently. There has been some talk that the formulation has changed and it is more powdery and inconsistent colourwise than it used to be. LG recommend using it over their spackle primer but I reckon any primer will do. They promote it as buildable coverage but I think too much of it makes you risk looking caked....

I like using it when I just want a little bit of light coverage/evening out my skin tone. I have fairly normal skin...not oily, not too dry, and only the odd hormonal spot. If you have problem skin I don't think B&B would give you the coverage. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I have pretty normal skin so hope it will be OK. I saw it on qvc the other morning when I couldn't sleep and I ordered some 😳. Never ordered from qvc before but thought it it's no good I'll send it back!

I bought it in medium and it was too orange for me and made me look shiny.
I always go back to Max Factor Facefinity Compact.

IPokeBadgers · 04/03/2018 13:43

I can wear medium if I have a slight tan but fair suits me better. Agree with ducky....max factor facefinity is also a staple for me and cheaper than Laura Geller.

mickeymacca · 04/03/2018 13:58

I've ordered fair.... Thanks for the max factor recommendation.

I use the Balance and Glow, I use it over my foundation for a made up look or on its own when on holiday, I love it and have repeat purchased it, it has a bit more of a glow than the balance and brighten.

IPokeBadgers · 04/03/2018 16:41

I want to try the balance and glow but am too tight to pay the full price. Am waiting for it to turn up in a qvc tsv where I like more than a couple of products....plus I have a bit of a makeup stockpile to work through first!

Kaz2200 · 04/03/2018 16:51

I bought my second one brand new off ebay, I buy the superseded ones

displacementofwater · 04/03/2018 17:08

I've been using this quite a while and love it. I find it buildable and never feel like I'm caked in it, don't use a primer, just apply over serum and moisturiser. I used the medium initially and just switched to fair as my skin seems to have changed colour.

ThomasShelbysBunnet · 04/03/2018 17:10

I love it. I've used it for the last few years and it's perfect for me. For a night out I prefer fuller coverage and use liquid foundation under it. It's pretty much foolproof too.
I ordered more yesterday along with the filter blush.

mickeymacca · 04/03/2018 17:23

Thanks for all your replies.. I'm excited to try it!!

I use it and have converted several friends to it. The balance and glow is nice too.

In the cold weather I don't like wearing just a powder so often use it as a finishing product over a creamier product, but in humid conditions B&B is fine on its own.

YY to QVC - much better value with the kits .
I bought a couple many years ago-
B&B - ok but I really don't wear powder
Bronzer- nice
Mascara-didn't like
eyeliner - good with a smudger end
lipgloss -too sticky for me but smelled lovely
eyeshadow- it was a dark plum+ graphite grey and worked well as a liner with a wet brush and several Hallowe'en costumes for the DC spooky eyes Grin

Blusher - the BEST I've ever had Roseberry , I will replace at some time .
Look at the colours in Debenhams (then buy on QVC Grin )
