What do you clean your makeup brushes with?

What do you use on a good quality brush (Bobbi Brown brushes) to clean & how often? Thanks

Handwash using same technique as stop. Weekly on a Saturday typically while DD has a bath and lay them out on kitchen towel on the ledge - I have bad skin so very conscious of them possibly harbouring bacteria.

Simple shampoo

I have smell-free anti allergic bar of soap that I use to clean the brushes.

I clean them everyday though.

Usually my shampoo. I really need to clean my brushes.
