Dress me for The Ritz

I'm being treated to a meal at The Ritz (OH won a competition for a free meal at a restaurant of our choice). I don't normally do things like this, so have no idea what to wear! I'm 30 and a size 12. What would you suggest I wear? Or can you share what you've worn there? TIA

Dp had to wear a tie and jacket.
I wore a black dress and ankle boots.

I also wore a black shift dress with heels and a nice necklace.

I went in the summer and wore a Phase Eight spotty dress and heels. DH wore a jacket and tie.
It's smart but not evening wear.

A bit of topic but the toilet had a lovely sofa in there and loads of perfume and stuff 😀
