No, because I don't look like the model and I'm too old for clubbing*. Time was I would've loved it.

*Not that there's a specific age cut off. It's just a feeling I have.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/03/2018 16:16

Horrible.

Xmasfairy86 · 03/03/2018 16:17

It doesn’t actually look overly flattering on the model. I’m not a fan!

DavetheCat2001 · 03/03/2018 16:17

Vile isn't it. Even on a young, slim pretty girl it looks really awful..the split thing is all wonky!

I just cannot imagine ever having the balls to wear a dress that skimpy!

Fair play to anyone who does/did though!

Ginza · 03/03/2018 16:18

That would make me look just like one of the Fat Slags out of Viz.

DavetheCat2001 · 03/03/2018 16:19

Ginza that made me laugh out loud! Grin

Very much the fashion nowadays and I'm starting to come around to it even if I wouldn't wear it myself. I'm only 24 and still 'do' clubbing though.

Ginza · 03/03/2018 16:20

DavetheCat2001 · 03/03/2018 16:21

This is from the same range..just deeply unflattering on any size/shape IMO

Ryan if you can pull it off then all power to you!

HangtheblessedDJ · 03/03/2018 16:23

My 23 year old god daughter has that dress. She dresses it with trainers and looks magnificent.

DavetheCat2001 · 03/03/2018 16:24

I can imagine it would look a lot funkier with trainers

OP posts:
TroubledTribble28 · 03/03/2018 16:24

Oh sweet jeebus no. That second one is all kinds of no.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/03/2018 16:25

2nd one makes the 1st look almost okay. Beige bodycon is unlikely to be a good idea on anybody, whatever their age or size.

Knittedfairies · 03/03/2018 16:26

That second one is hideous! If it looks like that, on a professional model, photo taken by a professional photographer, then God help the rest of us..

SoFancy · 03/03/2018 16:26

Horrid, even on a gorgeous young model!

HangtheblessedDJ · 03/03/2018 16:27

Thanks dave I don't like these threads although I know she wouldn't give a stuff what we thought Wink

think I was the same back in my teens

DavetheCat2001 · 03/03/2018 16:34

Sorry DJ, no offence intended.

If she has the confidence then I bet she looks fabulous!

I'm just bored..waiting for my nails to dry so having a browse on ASOS.

I think I'm getting old as I'd say about 85% of the dresses on there would look ridiculous on me Sad

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 03/03/2018 16:46

Yes I would.

GeorgeTheHippo · 03/03/2018 16:49

Bloody hell 😮

Hispterwannabe · 03/03/2018 16:53

I’m not a fan of the dress and don’t think it looks particularly flattering on the model.

pigeondujour · 03/03/2018 17:01

I'm young and thin and couldn't pull that off, but I can imagine if you were even younger and thinner and had the right skin tone it could look great with trainers. Although I think you'd need to stay in one position all night in it.

Alabama3 · 03/03/2018 17:01

the second one would look good if she had some shape wear on, as it is it doesnt do her any favours

RyanStartedTheFire · 03/03/2018 18:30

I don't wear it myself Dave but appreciate that others do look nice in them. It's definitely a very young trend. I feel old compared to most of the girls around nowadays.

Undercoverbanana · 03/03/2018 18:35

No. I wear more than that when I go running and I run in a vest and running knickers.
