Looking for recommendations for a good full coverage foundation but not with the "caked on" look Wink
Been wearing Rimmel foundation with 17 shine free powder on top but feel its just not quite enough coverage.
Cant afford to spend a fortune Smile

Any other foundation/coverage tips welcome....thanks folks Smile

I like Lancome teit idole - it's £28.00 but I only buy two a year.

Thirtyrock39 · 02/03/2018 21:48

I love Nivea tinted moisturiser

Thelampshadelady · 02/03/2018 21:50

Mac Pro long wear £27 but worth the money imo.

namechangedtoday15 · 02/03/2018 21:55

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light. The original DW is too heavy imo but the Light is lovely.

Revlon colorstay is more of budget friendly good coverage foundation. Comes in two diff formulas one for normal/dry skin and one for oily/combo. Also I like bourjois healthy mix and maybelline fit me. Have heard the maybelline superstay 24 hour is full coverage if that’s what your after but I haven’t personally tried it myself.

Agree with poster who said Estée Lauder double wear light is another good option not too heavy at all.

I like L'Oréal infallible total cover, gives good coverage without the caked on feeling. It is quite a thick formula though, i ewoukn't know what it's like on it own, I usually moisterise first, then apply a primer, I found Wilko's Kiss 'prime of your life' primer for £3 works quite well under this foundation, applied like this, I find I only need a little bit of the foundation as it goes a long way.

Also been hearing good things about the new make up revolution face base sticks that cost only £5!! Again haven’t tried them myself as Superdrug have sold out of the lightest shades that I would be but it’s one I definately want to try nothing to lose at that price!

Fast* base not face base - sorry lol

smashyourglasses · 03/03/2018 12:36

I love Double Wear but it's so expensive. I'm trying the supposed dupe, Rimmel Lasting Finish. It's ok, not a dupe. I need a primer with it or it gets patchy, and I use whitening drops as the colour match isn't great. Teint Idol is really lovely but also goes patchy on me.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 03/03/2018 12:40

I know it's not a new one, but Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum is quite good.

HomerDancing · 03/03/2018 12:42

Nars Sheer Glow - it’s not sheer or glowy though. It’s gives a good coverage and dries pretty matte.

Lemonicelolly1 · 03/03/2018 12:49

I use boots no 7 stay perfect foundation. They colour match & i find it has really good long lasting coverage. I think it's about £16 but is usually on a deal of either 3 for 2 or buy one get one half price so usually very good value

Ellapaella · 03/03/2018 13:57

L'Oréal infallible (the one in the bottle not the tube) and Bourgeois healthy mix are two of the best High street foundations I've used.
I also like The Ordinary coverage foundation and I've just bought Kiko full coverage foundation which is brilliant, but it's £18 so not that cheap.

Scaredycat2016 · 04/03/2018 19:18

Maybelline fit me matt and pore less. I'm a double wear nut but find this maybelline one rates highly 😊

LilaBlue · 04/03/2018 19:21

How much is the double wear? I don't wear foundation at all but like the look of it on other people Blush

namechangedtoday15 · 04/03/2018 20:45

About £30 I think

Slippery · 04/03/2018 20:47

Boots No 7 Stay Perfect. Nice dewy coverage, but you can apply two coats if you want it to look thicker. I'm 50 and often get complimented on my skin - and it's entirely down to the foundation Grin
