Tinted moisturizer

Can anyone recommend one? A little bit of shimmer would be ok but not as unicorn tasting as the Charlotte Tilbury one.

I’m fair skinned and would use it after my proper moisturizer so nothing too rich. Up to about £40

Nars is, in my opinion, the best. My mother (who wouldn't be forthcoming with praise!) complimented my skin when I had a newborn!

Origins GinZing SPF40 is amazing, ticks all the boxes (that said, one of the boxes is 'very expensive').

I'm pale and like Clinique CC cream and Eborian CC cream. Both moisturising, just the right amount of tint to be flattering, and long-lasting.

Stop tasting unicorns btw - terrible for the complexion Wink

Laura Mercier.

Nars was recommended to me on here the other day too. I bought it and it's lovely. It also smells amazing!

asilikeit · 01/03/2018 20:13

The Chanel CC cream is the dogs bollocks! 😊

tulipz · 01/03/2018 20:35

bare minerals complexion rescue gel is lovely

phoolani · 02/03/2018 12:13

can't beat Chantecaille Just Skin tinted moisturiser for me.

Another vote for Laura Mercier. I'm very pale - most foundation ranges don't have a shade pale enough for me - but their cammomile shade is perfect. Nice buildable coverage that makes me look like a nicer version of myself!

Have you tried No 7 (Boots) Airbrush? The one that comes in light/medium/dark rather than the similarly named product that comes in loads of different colours - this one www.boots.com/no7-airbrush-away-sheer-foundation-10228257 I basically stopped using any other make up after finding it, and even the salesperson in Boots when I went back to get some more (and wondered about the similar range) talked me out of spending more because she only wore it now.

Another vote for NARS. I'm on the oily side but the 'pure radiant tinted moisturiser' hasn't exacerbated that. It's artificial fragrance free and oil free.

The original Origins Vitazing is my favourite having tried loads in all price ranges. It looks strange coming out of the tube, its off-white to the point of being a bit grey. But it goes on beautifully and somehow magically adapts to your skin tone. I'm sallow, but I recommended it to a friend who's quite pale in a celtic way, and it looks great on her too. Haven't tried the new spf40 version yet although i did get a sample off a counter. There's no sheen/shine off it but it does make me look quite healthy. Great with my newly grey/silver hair, I definitely need colour in my face!

DustOffYourHighestHopes · 02/03/2018 19:10

Love vitazing, but nars offers more coverage and is more matt - without me looking more made up.

Rememory · 02/03/2018 19:56

I love Trinny London's BFF.

Longislandicetee · 02/03/2018 20:17

Another one for Nars. It's fantastic.

OrchidFlakes · 02/03/2018 21:00

Thank you all. I bought the NARS one today! When I’m done pulling my scarf up to my eyes and my hat down to meet it I’m going to give it a try! Looked good on though when they tested it at counter! Thank you Flowers
