Is this dress really unflattering?

I saw it on their website and immediately thought it looked quite nice, but having looked at it a bit longer, I'm wondering whether it is really unflattering and a horrible dress?

I normally love pinafores etc, so it is a slightly different shape to my usual style.

It's very overpriced and looks really cheap.

It's also not very flattering.

It's horrible. If a dress doesn't even make a model look good, it's a shit dress

Vitalogy · 01/03/2018 18:58

To me it looks like a decorating outfit.

Loads on ASOS:

I like it but would prefer a darker colour. My DCs are not under 18 and I'd wear it.

I think the neckline looks odd, almost too low. Won't your boobs be poking out the top?

I can't imagine there's many that this would look good on, not even the very young and svelte like.

VictoriaLo · 01/03/2018 19:22

Okay, I might wait and try it if its coming out in indigo, but I'm still sceptical about the dress. Thank you for the asos links, I love all of the pinafore dresses 😁

Bloody Hell, I wouldn't wear that unless I was 16 or younger 😯

I saw a similar, but much prettier dress in my size in Sainsbury's the other week. It was 1/2 price with an additional 25% off. I was laughing at it because it's the exact style I have been known to buy for 2yo DD Grin

I prefer the asos ones - much nicer and cost less. I might have a look in Sainsbury's.
