Mint velvet jeans - True to size?

I am a 12 but have a bit of a tum. Really like the look of the derby jeans and want to avoid a return. Best to go for a 12 or a 14? I am usually a 12 in jeans. Are they small made? I have had a few tops in the past and they haven't been exactly generous. Thanks!

I have one pair of MV skinnies (i love them! great quality) and i think they are true to size or even a bit generous. I'd go for 12.

I agree - true to size and reasonably generous waist.

I think they're true to size but that may be because of the shops I shop in now. Like I haven't tried on a pair of miss selfridge jeans in a long time. I would find an oasis size ten very tight, a Next size ten a bit big but a mint velvet ten is perfect so I hope that helps. Not really bought jeans from anywhere else in a while.......

While we're here, how do Husk jean sizes compare to MV? Anybody know?

Hush jeans are a good fit. True to size. Not sure how they compare to MV though!

Now I'd say MV jeans are actually quite small but I've only tried on one style. I was surprised because their tops are enormous (I am aware I'm completely contradicting a PP which is no help!).

Is the quality good ? Are they made for pear shapes ? Has anyone tried their skirt leggings ? Do they look ridiculous on short legged people ? Do you think they would be good for traveling in - airplane travel ?

Just googled skirt leggings! I think MV quality is good in general but i'm not keen on things that pretend to be something else! Things like jumpers with pretend shirts attached and i'm putting these leggings in that bracket!

Having said that - they would be dead comfy flying but so would leggings and a baggy top!
